The UN Decade of Healthy Ageing Connection Series explores the relationships between the Decade of Healthy Ageing and key global issues. This third advocacy brief highlights how the health and well being of older people are affected by climate change and how climate change is relevant across all four action areas of the Decade plan. It identifies key opportunities to bring the healthy ageing and climate change agendas together and presents specific examples of what can be done to foster healthy ageing that can also help adapt to, mitigate, and build resilience for the climate crisis.
