European Region: WHO Emergency Health Appeal 2024

Overview

2023 saw the European Region (EURO) facing a series of new emergencies and escalations in addition to ongoing emergencies including the conflict in Ukraine, the COVID-19 pandemic and more. The earthquake in Turkey and Syria, the influx of a large number of refugees into Armenia and the escalation of the Israel-Palestine conflict have affected millions and disrupted critical health services.
