Overview
Innovative international financing refers to new instruments or non-traditional sources for raising additional funds for health. It also refers to improving the efficiency and effectiveness in the channelling and use of available resources.
This brief is part of a series, The World Health Report Technical Briefs, written to further develop key policy issues outlined in the World Health Report 2010: Health systems financing: The path to universal coverage.
