WHO in its WHA69/39 session adopted the ‘Framework on Integrated, People-centred Health Services (IPCHS),’ providing a compelling vision of how to close the health access gap by transforming health systems to be designed for people. The concept of integrated health services can be summarized as: “the organization and management of health services so that people get the care they need, when they need it, in ways that are user friendly, achieve the desired results and provide value for money.”
