Annex 5 of the Guidelines for drinking-water quality, fourth edition incorporating the first and second addenda
Overview
Information in Annex 5 of the Guidelines for drinking-water Quality (GDWQ) is intended to support decisions regarding the ability of existing treatment to meet guideline values and what additional treatment may be needed. Annex 5 includes a brief description of the treatment processes that are listed in Table 8.7 of the GDWQ. It also includes summary tables on the effectiveness of treatment processes for chemicals for which guideline values have been established by source category.
The Annex is extracted from the GDWQ, fourth edition incorporating the first and second addendum published in March 2022.
