Update 82: What we know about influenza and COVID-19

Overview

Influenza can cause serious illness and death.  Influenza activity has picked up since the lifting of public health and social measures, and is now at pre-COVID-19 levels.  The most effective way to prevent the disease is through vaccination.  This update provides the latest information on influenza, including how it is different from COVID-19.
