2017 Campaign for Lead Free Kids

2017 Campaign for Lead Free Kids

Overview

India, Nepal, Thailand and Sri Lanka are among a growing number of countries that have taken action to control the production, import, sale and use of lead paint. This action reflects the overwhelming evidence of the harm caused to the development of intellectual disability in children. Unfortunately there remains more than one third of countries around the world which do not yet have legally binding legislation.

Join a growing number of individuals and organizations around the world to raise awareness about lead poisoning and urge further action to eliminate lead paint by marking International Lead Poisoning Prevention Week of Action from 22 to 29 October 2017
