At the 23rd Annual International Mental Health Conference in Bangkok, Thailand, Regional Director Saima Wazed emphasized on the importance of mental health to enable people realize their abilities, contribute to their communities, and much more.
She highlighted the need for more investment at community and primary health care level for responsive mental health systems, strengthening human resources to support expansion of mental health services, and focusing on vulnerable groups to ensure no one is left behind in accessing quality mental health services.
