Division of Health Security and Emergencies
The World Health Organization (WHO) is committed to saving lives and protecting health during times of crisis - whether caused by outbreaks, disasters or conflicts.
The Division of Health Security and Emergencies houses both the WHO Health Emergencies Programme and the Organization's work on food safety in the Western Pacific Region. The Division is working with Member States and partners to strengthen emergency preparedness, prevention, detection, response and recovery.
