Overview

The Tenth Annual Meeting of the Regional Verification Commission (RVC) for Measles and Rubella Elimination in the Western Pacific was held from 12 to 16 September 2022 via in-person and virtual participation. The meeting objectives were to review and assess the 2021 progress reports of 16 national verification committees and the Subregional Verification Committee covering 21 Pacific island countries and areas, to verify the progress, achievement and maintenance of measles and rubella elimination by country or area, and to provide recommendations to accelerate progress towards elimination.
