Throughout 2025, WHO aims to ensure access to vital health services, including emergency and trauma care, for those in Ukraine impacted by the conflict. The overarching objective is to reduce mortality and morbidity, uphold life-preserving health services, and support recovery priorities in the emergency setting.
To achieve this, WHO has launched an appeal detailing its resource needs for Ukraine for the period between January and December 2025. The estimated resource requirement is US$ 68.4 million to address the health needs of people affected by the conflict.
WHO wishes to extend its gratitude to the donors who are generously supporting efforts to address the greatest needs and strengthen health systems in Ukraine.
