WHO to host 3rd edition of Walk the Talk in Geneva
WHO will organize the 3rd edition in Geneva of the “Walk the Talk: Health For All Challenge” on Sunday 22 May 2022, on the morning of the World Health Assembly.
This in-person event will invite participants to run or walk over two routes: 3 km and 4.2 km. People of all ages and abilities will start at Place des Nations from 8.30am.
People around the world are invited to take part in the event by tracking their performances through a dedicated app. By registering, participants will receive a login to take part-in anywhere in the world.

Walk the Talk from wherever you are with these 3 easy steps:
- Register online, which will generate a booking reference sent to your email address
- Download the app on your mobile*
- Log in to the app using your email and booking reference, and following the instructions on the app, and you’re all set to Walk the Talk on 22 May!
Take the Health for All Challenge
Invite family and friends to join in the fun!
- On 22 May, or on the day of your challenge, take your (fully charged!) mobile phone and turn on your app.
- Log in the Walk the Talk app, making sure you use the email and booking reference from your registration confirmation email.
- Choose a distance between 3km and 4.2km on the app. We recommend that you allow the geolocalisation to be set to “all the time” and not to make phone calls or open other apps during your challenge.
- Choose the people you wish to challenge on the same distance as you. Take note, you can challenge only two other participants who have already completed the challenge on their own.
- Start the audio message and let’s go!
*To use the WTT 2022 app: For IOS, you need at least an IOS 13 (from iPhone 7)/ For Android, you need at least an Android 5.1 Lollipop.
