The data visualization compares 2014 ODA per capita in US$ by recipient country (bottom). Regional weighted averages are provided by WHO region and country income groups (top charts).
Points to note:
- Weighted averages of ODA per capita are derived from 137 ODA recipients countries for which data are available. Due the missing observations, caution is needed in interpreting the numbers.
- Africa (top left) and countries in the low income group (top right) received the biggest average ODA per capita (4.5 US$ and 6.0 US$, respectively) compared to the other regions and income groups.
- Liberia, an African low income country received the highest ODA per capita among any other country (bottom chart) and almost five times more (29.1 US$) the weighted average for this income group (6.0 US$).
