The diseases which pose an active threat to the Western Pacific Region change over time. Through the Regional Event Based Surveillance System, WHO continues to watch for signs of outbreaks of these diseases or other significant events. However, the WHO Western Pacific Regional Office no longer produces these disease-specific updates on an ongoing basis.
