PAHO recommended salt questions and GATS-harmonized tobacco questions in all respondents, plus 24h urine capture in a 25% sample successfully implemented as part of SAGE Wave 2 in Ghana and South Africa.

Data and urine capture completed in Ghana and South Africa in 2019. PAHO recommended salt questions and GATS-harmonized tobacco questions in all respondents, plus 24h urine capture in a 25% sample. Urine assays (Na+, K+, iodine, cotinine) being run in laboratories in the respective countries.
