The Evidence-informed Policy Network
EVIPNet is a global initiative using cutting-edge approaches to knowledge translation to improve health policy-making. It supports countries in applying the best available evidence to deliver high-quality and effective healthcare policies and sustainably strengthen national health systems. By translating the best available evidence into viable policy options and actionable health interventions, EVIPNet actively contributes to delivering better care and health outcomes for people.
The EVIPNet Call for Action launched in November 2021 to chart the way forward for evidence-informed decision-making in the post-pandemic era.
Across a global network of country teams, regional partners, and local actors, EVIPNet:
EVIPNet convenes multisectoral country teams of policy-makers, researchers, and civil society actors to identify and address national health priorities. Teams draw on the best available evidence, with added insights from patients, health professionals, citizens, and affected communities, to design appropriate solutions, appraise policy options, and implement and monitor interventions.
