WHO is working together with countries and partners to prepare for and respond to outbreaks and emergencies. In the Western Pacific Region, these efforts are guided by the Asia Pacific Strategy for Emerging Diseases and Public Health Emergencies (APSED III). Here you will find examples of the joint progress achieved through APSED III and the best practices that can guide further efforts to strengthen regional health security and advance implementation of the International Health Regulations (2005).
