Mapping of R&D stakeholders

WHO has developed a mapping visualization tool to promote further communication and collaboration among various stakeholders and networks. This is accessible as an innovative electronic data visualization platform that presents: 

(1) parties that are involved in R&D targeting priority pathogens or in R&D for specific products; 

(2) information about collaborations. 

The database currently focuses on the pipeline of vaccines, diagnostics and therapeutics for the pathogens responsible for the priority diseases. The tool has a flexible design so as to be able to rapidly incorporate information from a new disease and/or from non-product research activities.
