Given the multidimensional approach laid out by the Adolescent Well-being Framework, and the complexity of the domains, a time-bound Expert Consultative Group with specific technical expertise has been established. The role of the Expert Consultative Group is to strengthen the scientific basis for the development of the measurement approach through:
- supporting synthesis of the latest research related to adolescent well-being measurement;
- reviewing available indicators; and
- providing recommendations on indicator prioritization.
The first meeting of the Expert Consultative Group was held in October 2022, and another meeting is planned to take place in mid-2023.
